Scope

The Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics for Edge Applications (Edge_AIB 2026) workshop aims to provide a focused forum for exploring the convergence of artificial intelligence, big data analytics, edge computing, IoT, intelligent sensing, and computer vision. The workshop emphasizes the importance of processing and analyzing data closer to its source to support real-time, scalable, and efficient decision-making across modern edge-enabled applications. The workshop will highlight recent advances in edge-native AI, big data stream analytics, lightweight deep learning, computer vision, intelligent sensing, multimodal data processing, and distributed learning at the edge. Particular attention will be given to methods and applications that enable real-time inference, anomaly detection, event recognition, predictive analytics, and data-driven intelligence in dynamic edge environments. Through original research, technical contributions, case studies, and prototype demonstrations, Edge_AIB 2026 will provide insights into the design and implementation of intelligent edge systems for IoT, smart cities, healthcare, transportation, energy, industrial IoT, UAVs, autonomous systems, disaster monitoring, environmental sensing, and agriculture. The workshop welcomes researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and graduate students interested in advancing next-generation AI-enabled and data-driven edge applications.
